I specialize in helping speakers learn to convey ideas with clarity, confidence, and conviction. Barriers such as fear, unclear diction, inadequate volume, poor eye contact, a monotonous voice, or bad posture should not stand in the way of expressing ideas effectively. Through private coaching, group classes, and workshops, I work with people to develop techniques for communicating with passion, authority, and persuasiveness. Current Projects: In addition to her private practice, Katina is a coach with both Tribeca Leadership, LLC , and the firm of BeamPines . She recently completed a 3-year contract as a communications coach for partners at Deloitte and coaches annually at Deloitte University in Dallas. She has led workshops at CBRE Women’s Networking Forum , including presenting the webinar "Finding Your Voice" . She has served on the faculty of The American Academy for Dramatic Arts , and is a regular teaching guest at the City University of New York where she designs and delivers Public Speaking and Accent Reduction workshops. Favorite projects have included presenting before the New York City Bar Association and an Accent Reduction Workshop for foreign-born engineers at Leslie E. Robertson Associates (LERA) on Wall Street. Recent media appearances include interviews on Sirius Satellite Radio for Martha Stewart Living . She graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Program at Fordham University with a BA in Communications. She is a member of the Voice & Speech Trainers Association (VASTA) and works regularly as a voice-over artist as a member of SAG-AFTRA .
